La composition est toujours la même. Cela revient à un autoportrait. Une table ronde avec en son centre un compotier avec 6 citrons. À droite derrière la table le dossier d’une chaise et derrière cette chaise contre le bord droit du tableau une ouverture verticale, le plus souvent sombre. En haut à gauche un miroir sans reflet. C’est austère.
Dans cette série, à mon insu, sans que je l’ai décidé, de tableau en tableau, la lumière s’est mise à tourner de la gauche vers la droite mais pas comme la lumière du jour qui tourne d’Est en Ouest ; plutôt comme une réorientation intérieure que j’ai rendue visible sans l’avoir conçue.
Quand un sujet est vraiment intériorisé, qu’il touche au noyau dur de l’être, alors l’inconscient va chercher à s’exprimer, et il faut l’entendre.

The composition of the painting is always the same, like in a self-portrait; a fruit bowl with 6 lemons in the middle of a round table, behind the table on the right – the back of a chair and behind the chair, against the right edge of the painting a vertical opening, most often a dark one, and on top on the left – a mirror without reflection. It’s rather austere.
In this series, without my realizing it orconscious decision about it, from painting to painting the light moved from the left to the right, contrary to the day light, natural light which moves from the east to the west, but rather like my inner reorientation which I rendered visible unintentionally. When something becomes part of our deep inner nature, when it touches the hard core of our being, then our sub-consciousness will look for ways to express it and we must listen to it.
